Locations and Highlights From the heart of the ancient Inca empire to the second largest reef in the world to one of the most historic and well-preserved Spanish colonial cities, ProWorld's program sites will expose you to new cultures, centuries-old traditions, and stunning landscapes. With ProPeru, you can explore the Incan capital of Cusco and the ruins of the Sacred Valley, while working on a hands-on development project. Current projects include educating rural families about nutritional and health issues, preserving native forests high in the Andes, and helping at a women's and children's center. With ProBelize, you can experience the tropics of the Caribbean and the cultural mix of Maya, Mestizo, Creole, Mennonite and Garifuna, while working on a hands-on development project. Current projects include working alongside doctors and nurses in local hospitals and clinics, maintaining and improving the Elijo Manti National Park, and running sports and arts and crafts summer camps. With ProMexico, you can discover Oaxaca's colonial history and its ancient past, while working on a hands-on development project. Current projects include supporting the physical, mental, and social well-being of the elderly, protecting the water and soil of the San Felipe Mountains, and setting up exhibitions at community museums. “My experience in the Sacred Valley was absolutely incredible.
