ProWorld's unique study abroad programs are an immersive and comprehensive blend of academics and development work.  Build a shelter for teenage mothers and learn about the theories of international development in Cusco, Peru, visit a Zapotec village and learn about how indigenous people are preserving their ancient culture in the modern world in Oaxaca, Mexico, snorkel in the Caribbean and learn about the threats to the fragile reef ecology in San Ignacio, Belize.  You will live with a local family, take classes with local and international professors, work on a staff supported project, and explore the culture.
